I had just purchased GIA certified RB solitaire ring. the clarity is VS1 and I can see a feather with a 10X loupe down in the pavilion nearer to the side of the culet, but not right on the tip. Does that post a durability issue. there are no other feather near the table or girdle.I usually look out for at least a VS2 and above clarity grade. Do I have to avoid feather inclusion in my future purchases since it actually means ''crack''?

THANK YOU in advance!

let me put it this way the diamond I bought for my wifey2b has a similar inclusion in the same area.

It isn''t an issue or I wouldn''t have bought it.

The only feathers that are a huge issue are feathers open to the top and large feathers at the girdle and often they arent a problem.
At least on expert believes that healed internal feathers actually stabilize the structure of a diamond.

tjs for the input:) Now i can put my mind at ease!

It should be fine with VS1 clarity, I would not anticipate any issues with the feather.
