Virtual appraisal recommendation

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive online appraiser?

I just need a quick appraisal to bump up the insurance on my engagement ring, I just insured it for what I paid and can no longer replace it for that.

It has a GIA cert and is in a basic, custom platinum setting with tapered baguettes, for which I also have documentation, so it shouldn’t be difficult to appraise. I just need a number in writing for the insurance company.

I found Mearto. Anyone use them?

Do insurance companies accept online appraisals?
Part of why they want an appraisal is proof an item exists as described.
That can not be done online.

Also they need to see if it’s damaged in any way. In person inspection I’m sure.

Step one is to call your insurance company to ask them whether they accept the type of appraisal (and the particular appraiser) you want to provide to them.
