vintage ladies diamond wedder ...

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has seen something similar to this ring for sale anywhere, or even just as a comparison? Many years ago I lost my mothers wedding band which had three tiiny diamonds set across the top, each in a "star" shaped engraving. We are now looking to replace this wedding band for her and this one is almost perfect, but quite a few sizes smaller so rather than resizing I wonder if I could find one the same?? I know this one is a long shot ...

Thanks Ellen - this ring was on ebay, and the story is that approximately 15 years ago I was wearing my mothers wedding band on my middle finger as I loved it at the time (she was no longer married to my Dad), and went scuba diving in a fairly cold sea and alas, hours afterwards I realised it was gone. Doh!!! Anyhow, this was in Adelaide, Australia so long ago, but I came across this ring that looks exactly the same, from a pornbroker in Adelaide so it just seems almost meant to be. When mum saw it she thought she just had to have it. I would like to be able to find her a new one, but she is hoping the one on ebay is somehow miraculously her original! A VERY long shot, but I bought it for her anyhow. If it''s not, she can always sell it on etc. I will have it polished up once it arrives, and hopefully it will just be a great RHR for her now.

Yes, especially since it's not even close to the same siaze, but, I suppose anything is possible! It's a weird coincidence anyway...

And thanks for clearing up how you lost your moms WB, you had me scratching my head!
