"very thin to medium" girdle

Hi,

The diamond I got has a girdle rating of "Very thing to medium." I looked at the girdle with my loupe, and there is a small portion of it that is very thin. I did have it set in a prong-setting. Is this a problem?

It is a potentual problem yes.
If you can wear it so the thin part is on the inside towards your hand if its on the side that can or on the inside towards your body if its on one of the other 2 sides.
In other words protect it as much as possible then insure it and dont worry too much about it.
