Hello,
I''m looking to buy an engagement ring in the UK and came across a site that, basically, says that AGS certs aren''t that good in terms of appearance to a human: yes there is a difference to machines, but it''s not noticable to a human observer. The site recommends ''Antwerp cut''.
In a reply to an email, the sender gave the impression that he didn''t think much of HCA either: and is escpecially negative about H&A stones. Is the info supplied true, as it seems contrary to most of the posts on this forum?
Acoording to the website he''s a diamond trader based in Antwerp, and cuts stones as well. Is it an old world/ new world thing, just like wine about 10 years ago?
Thanks for any advice and opinions,
Billy
