This is just a PSA to anybody ordering a setting from Verragio. If you are planning on scheduling an intricate proposal or other important date based ona Verragio ship date, you may want to reconsider.
We ordered our stone with a Verragio setting via Whiteflash and have had three shipping delays thus far. The first was unexplained, the second was due to porosity in the casting, the third was speculatively explained as a potential delay with the polishing.
The explanations sound as though they could happen with any company that you order from, so I suppose it would be prudent not to schedule any important event based on the "ship date" from any jeweller.
It is what it is, we'd definitely prefer to have things squared away prior to shipping. We don't have anything planned around our ship date(s), but hopefully this can potentially help somebody from making that mistake.
