Shopping Vera Wang Sizing Question

I''m getting ready to order a dress on Bluefly to wear for FI''s sister''s wedding. Does anyone know how the sizing runs on Vera Wang dresses? I wear a 4 pretty universally, except Banana Republic where I wear size 2. In jeans, I wear size 26 or 27, depending on the brand and style. I''m debating on whether to get a 4 in Vera Wang or 6 in case it runs small. Any ideas?

Has anyone ever purchased an item from Bluefly in multiple sizes and returned the one that didn''t work? Do they allow that?

don''t get a 6. it''ll be too big. i''ve tried on 2 or 3 of her dresses, and they are pretty true to size. i''m between a 4 and 6, depending on the brand and how the dress is cut, and both sizes worked for me. if you wear a 2 at banana, you''re def smaller than me, so the 6 is for sure going to be too big.

i''ve never ordered 2 things from bluefly, but i''ve done that w/ zappos. problem there was that it took them a few months to mail me the return slip, and the print it online feature didn''t work, so i had to pay for 4 pair of $200 shoes and 3 of them sat in my coat closet waiting and waiting, then got sent back months later and then it was like another 2 weeks before i got a refund!

i''ve done the same thing ordering from anthropologie, but just took it back to the store so that was easy

I ordered two dresses (different styles), both size 4. I''m going to decide which one I like most, and send the other one back (hopefully). I''m the type of person who would keep both.

I tried on a few at Neiman''s a couple years ago and found them to be true to size. Found one I absolutely loved, but my DH was with me and didn''t like it as well (haven''t taken him shopping since, lol!) Good luck with your Bluefly experience, let us know how it goes.

Ack, it was a total bust...

The dresses came and didn''t fit. I''m fairly slender but I have a unique (I think) problem. Dresses tend to fit tightly around my ribcage. Its not my chest, nor is it fat being squeezed. Its my bone structure. Even if I weighed 90 lbs, I would still have the same problem. Yikes. I don''t look strangely proportioned, but it seems I am. Lovely.

I just hope that the returns get processsed quickly and uneventfully... Back to the drawing board. At least I now know how Vera Wang fits on me.

I have that issue as well sometimes w/ dresses.

I think that the Vera Wang lavender label is fairly true to size, but her bridesmaids dresses definitely run small.
