Hey everyone, I too like many love the Vera Wang micropave setting, my boyfriend on the other hand isn''t.

Anyway, Vera Wang will no longer sell jewelry as of December 2007. However for any of you looking to get this setting you might want to try the manufacturer directly, Rosy Blue http://www.rosyblue.com/index.php?flash=ok,
not only will the set any stone you have but they can also make the setting in white gold, which I hear is a lot sturdier. They also suggest if the center stone is greater than 1.5 a slight change to the setting to secure the stone more. They have a warranty on the pave stones falling out and are really a pleasure to talk to.

Good luck to everyone.

I love that setting too! Thanks for the tip! But I have to say, I think you should get whatever setting you like for your e-ring since you''re the one wearing it! But I''m bratty like that...

I **think** that at least one of the reasons the Vera Wang rings are being discontinued is because they broke on so many people...so I would make sure that whatever design you decide to do takes that into consideration.

They BROKE???

I''m pretty sure that I heard that here or in an article somewhere else. I''ll have to try and find it to verify, but I steered clear of those settings for a reason and I think that''s why.

According to the manufacturer the ring has a warranty for any breaks or lost diamonds.

That might be, but I still wouldn''t want to risk breaking it and having to send it back if it were me. Especially for the price.
