Vendors that are willing to sell mounts alone?

Does anyone know of any vendors that sell mountings only (and not require you to buy the center stone from them)? I''m interested in a 3-stone setting. I''m planning on resetting a diamond I have into a 3-stone mount.

I think you can get many settings from the vendors here w/out having to purchase the center stone from them.

I really think if you have the stone already, I''d find a high quality jeweler within driving distance to get the setting. Then, if it needs any adjustment or repair, they are there to do it for you. There''s no great advantage to buying a setting online unless you are getting a designer one from Pearlman''s. Most of the vendors are charging regular retail or close to it for the settings as compared to what I have seen in jewelry stores. I would have bought a setting from the vendor I bought the diamond from if I had found one I liked, but since that didn''t work, I decided to buy local.
