Vendors and restocking of diamonds???

I''ve been eyeing up Whiteflash and good old gold almost every day and it doesn''t seem like many new diamonds come along often.

When do they get a new "stock" of dimaonds?
Do they get a whole bunch of new ones at one time?

Is it best just to leave desired specs with them and have them contact when it comes in?

Ideally this is what we''re looking for:

Cut - Ideal (WF ES or ACA)
Color - White looking J
Clarity - Eye clean SI2
Carat - as large as possible for budget (thinking we''ll end up somewhere between 1.2 and 1.5

Budget - 5K-6K (preferrably closer to 5K)

Yes!

Wf is about every 6 weeks I believe. GOG is ongoing.


Call and tell them what you want.

Usually they can locate them for you, but it does take a few days. I would definitely call both places, because that''s what I did and I ended up finding the perfect stone for me after a couple of months. I don''t think you''ll find a 1.5 for less than 6k though.

Hi Marie,

Just call the vendor and let them know what you''re looking for. I''m waiting for some new stones to come in as well (from WF) for some studs.

They currently don''t have what I''m looking for so I just gave them the specs and they''re hunting down the stones for me.

Thanks for these. One of them was one I was eyeing at WF but the first one you listed is one I wouldn''t have considered since I was only searching for SI''s.
