Who is vegitarian and who loves meat.I was raised with a dietian-vegitarian mother and a german meat and potatos chef for a father....I can eat both ways and enjoy the meal !

I''m an omnivore. I like a good, thick, bloody steak once in awhile but have also been known to subsist off of quinoa and lentils.

I hate steak. Hate.

I really only like seafood as meat.

I only eat meat socially if we're out at a restaurant without any good vegetarian options. I also don't drink milk, and only like to consume dairy or egg products unless I'm aware of their origin - or again out socially with limited options. DH also doesn't eat a lot of meat but for health reasons, while I don't for health and emotional reasons - I don't want animals mistreated.

I''d rather have pasta. I''m picky about my food..sometimes browning hamburger makes me gag, and if I see any pink in a steak, I get queasy.

Anything tasty! Sometimes I feel like a steak... sometimes I feel like a salad. Although the majority of my meals seem to include some sort of meat.

Steak, steak, and more steak please!! I''m a farm girl though, so that steak from the supermarket just doesn''t cut it. Ya gotta go to a good butcher or do it yourself for the most delicious hunk of heaven.

I do eat more veggies now than ever before and I like a good helping along side my steak.

I don''t eat nearly as many veggies as I should, but I don''t eat a lot of red meat, either. Are you literally talking steak or just red meat in general? Steak is one I don''t eat much. I think it''s because I grew up watching my mom eat very rare steak and it always grossed me out. I have had steak tips occasionally though and they were really good. I like to make beef stew once in a while, too. I''d much prefer chicken or fish any day, though.

I love four or five bites of a good steak and then I can be happy as a clam with the veggies.

I HEAR YA!My father personally cut all is own meat for the hotels we owned and I love lots of veggies by my steak or chicken...and lots of brown rice on the side!

I don''t eat muscle/fat/flesh or anything that bleeds.

I''ve never liked red meat. Only way I''d eat it as a kid was if it was burned until it looked like a charcoal brickette and then buried in mustard & pepper. I''m sick of chicken, eat seafood, but primarily exist on veggies, chocolate & wine.

The turnips are crying, can you hear them?

Wow, so many people dislike red meat. I love all beef cuts/preparations except liver and fillet minion, which to me tastes like liver. I''m not a huge chicken fan. I''ll eat it, but if I had to choose between that, beef or fish, I''d be choosing fish or beef.

That''s part of why I don''t eat a lot of red meat. I don''t like the thought of eating slabs of it. Does that make sense? For some reason though, it doesn''t bother me to eat chicken, turkey, pork, or fish.

My body forces me to be an omnivore... but at the same time not. I can''t eat most domestic meats. We either eat what we hunt, or we have to go find someone with grass fed. But at the same time, I have to have more iron and protein in my diet b/c I tend to fall into anemia easily.

Such is the life

I eat A LOT of meat. Our grocery bill shows it too, as all of the meat is free range/organic and I''m feeding four people! Also, I eat a lot of veggies and fruits as do my kids. They love baby carrots

I like everything. I don''t discriminate.

however, I try to limit meat (of any kind) to 1/week. Veggies, I do eat every day.

I''ll have a burger once in a blue moon, but mostly I''m a chicken and seafood type of girl.

We eat a ton of chicken, but every now and then I LOVE a great ribeye!!!!! YUMMMMM.

Wow, meat only one day a week? That seems like so little. . .I have at least 5 servings a day. lol For dinner, I may have a chicken breast with a salad, which seems like that would be 2-3 servings right there.

anything that is edible and can sustain me.

I''m dead serious when I say, I''ll eat ANYTHING. Or everything, really. I love meat but I''m perfectly content to eat veggies only

I eat more veggies than meats on a typical day, but there''s always both on my plate. I can eat vegetarian, but I can''t eat all meats without veggies.

I prefer meals with both veggies and steak! Variety is the spice of life.

My energy levels are definitely much better now that I've increased my proteins/meats and veggies, and decreased the carbs. We ate a lot of steak when we lived in Iowa (cheap, local, and readily available beef!), but unfortunately it is a rarity now. Because I love a good rare steak!

I need a good heaping of both. If I don''t get enough veggies my body starts craving a huge plate of stir-fried vegetables (What can I say? I''m Chinese?) However, when I''ve tried to go vegetarian I really get weak. Tofu and beans and grain and the like, no matter how much, just don''t work for my body.

I eat meat and vegetables. I am not picky. However, DH is a strict meatatarian... He will eat meat, potatoes, pasta, rice, and SOMETIMES I can get him to eat fresh steamed green beans. He is sooooo picky and it is really annoying at times.

This.

We probably eat red meat once or twice a week...unless I make a big crock pot full of Pot Roast...then we probably eat it for dinner and leftovers at least 3 times each.

The rest of the meals are fish, chicken, or meatless. Tofu stir-fry is one of my fave things to make, served over brown rice. Yummmmmm.

I eat meat now. I was raised vegetarian, so I didn''t start eating meat until I was 19. There are still many types of fish that I''ve never tried, but I''ve just never been able to develop a taste for fish. I do love lobster, though.

However, DH and I just read The China Study so we''re starting to seriously limit the amount of animal protein that we eat. It''s hard for me to do that, because I''ve been drinking at least a gallon of milk a week for years. And I eat two eggs for breakfast every day.

For anyone who doesn''t like red meat, try a Morton''s cajun ribeye. It''s the best cut of meat I''ve ever had. EVER.
