I am SO excited to share these pictures with you ladies (finally!)...

A little background...I always envisioned getting married in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I went to college (GO BLUE!). When I met DH and we realized that most of his family wouldn't be able to attend an out-of-town (for them) wedding, we decided to get married in Kansas City, Missouri. On one condition: that I get to have pictures taken after the wedding in Ann Arbor, just like I'd pictured since I was 18!

The amazing Dionne Haglund of The Shooting Gallery (who also shot Rachie and ladyciel's weddings) followed DH and I all around Ann Arbor getting some A-MAY-ZING shots. A few of my favorites (out of the 500+ images) are below...

Thanks, AB! I think we cross-posted so you missed the last four pics...unless of course you're talking about the ones IMMEDIATELY after I hit the water, which are HORRIFIC because I didn't count on my butt hitting the bottom of the fountain so quickly! Nearly knocked the wind out of me!

FutureGirl, you're SO sweet! Thank you for the lovely compliment! I think what most amazes me about the fountain pictures is you can't really tell how FREAKING FROZEN I was during them. The air temperature was about 52-55F and the water was colder...about 45 degrees. BRRRRRR. It's amazing I'm not this color in them:

HOT, I'll admit it...I actually got to dress up THREE times! Between the wedding and the photoshoot, I had a local reception back where DH and I live (since we got married out of town and the wedding was pretty much family only)! But man, I got all the use I could out of that dress!
