FI and I traveled to Kansas City over the weekend to get a few things booked for our wedding...including our photographer! We also did our engagement pictures while we were there...and our amazing and fabulous photog (Sarah Dickerson at Sarah Dickerson Photography) posted the blog teaser photos yesterday!

After dealing with some DL-ing issues...here they are! I hope you love them as much as I do!!!

lulu: I almost didn't even wear that dress, and I've gotten so many compliments on it! Good thing I had sense enough to ask my friends about my wardrobe first!!!

I love these engagement photos where the photographer manages to catch the couples "essence".
Numbers 4 and 12 could be in a magazine.
The red blue green yellow colors in your clothing really added to the oomph

Anyway, thanks to princessplease, MissMina, CurlySue, Blackpaw, ts44, HH, OUpeargirl, and tammy77!!! You're all so sweet.

As for the red dress: Target sale rack probably 4 years ago, after which it sat in my closet until I felt more comfortable in it...after about 30 lbs of weight loss in the past two years, it was finally time to bust it out! The yellow shoes were totally from Old Navy 2 summers ago!

Supers, they're definitely becoming more popular. Many couples use them to get a good selection of photos to use on their Save the Dates. I specifically wanted some because I knew FI would have some awkwardness with the whole "photo session" concept and I wanted him to get it out before the wedding day! We also discovered he's more comfortable in front of the camera when he's receiving direction (turn this way, look that way, move your left hand there, etc.) so now both my photographer and I know that if we just give him some direction, he'll stay nice and loose and relaxed through all our wedding portraits.
