VC Pave band enough bling with a plain solitaire??

Hey guys so Im going to go with the VC Gabriella plain shank solitaire for my 3.2 ct and was wondering if a VC pave band with a 2.2mm shank would be enough to bling it up a bit. Im going to go with a 2mm shank for the solitaire. I am after pretty bling, not over the top but not understated either. If I don't go with the pave I will probably do anywhere from 3-5 pointers, but Im not wanting the eternity band to exceed much more than 2.5mm width.
If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear your opinions.

My guess is that your big 3ct+ diamond in combination with the pave band will give you the 'bling' you are looking for.
Have you studied photo's with plain shank e-ring combined with a pave band and do you love the look?
To be absolutely sure, you could wait until you E-ring is done and then go to Tiffany's or so to try pave bands to see if you love the look.

When will your Gabriella be ready? It's such a stunning design.

I guess I'm biased, but I love the VC Gabriella! I think you've seen all of my pics before w/ other wedding bands. But I ultimately like to wear mine w/ a plain matching spacer b/c it makes the diamond the star of the show!

I think another good option would be a thin alternating french cut/round eternity band just like what DS just custom made (but with all diamonds). Take a look at her thread for a similar look since she has a simple Vatche solitaire.

Acinom thank you. I do love the look of plain shank solitaire with a lot of pave bands I have seen. I actually went into Tiffanys today and tried on a few bands with my current setting which is the BGD Tiffany and although I could only try on to the knuckle due to smaller sizing the 8 pointers looked the best, I went into another jewellery store and tried on a pave band and looked that also. I guess it just depends on which look I prefer. I haven't actually given the go ahead with the Gabriella just yet as I have wanted to be absolutely certain on this setting which I will probably not change for some time.

Mom2boys Yes its just the perfect solitaire setting. Yes I certainly have dug up all your pics I just didn't know if the pave would be quite enough. I didn't love the plain band on me perhaps it had something to do with my finger size Im not sure as I do like the look. I did have a quick look at DS new eternity band which is very lovely however when I tired on similar styles today it just didn't do anything for me with my solitaire, by itself or as a staker well that's a different story very beautiful. Thanks though it will be tough to decide but I just want to put this whole ring thing to sleep for a while so I need to chose so I stop obessing with it all
