VC Bliss line

Hello! Does anyone have a setting from the Victor Canera Bliss line? I'm resetting my diamond and am curious how it compares to the hand forged pieces. TIA!

Will he actually sell you one if your diamond is not from him? I asked last year and a rep told me the settings were only for diamonds purchased from VC

Yes, my original diamond was purchased from him years ago. I believe you're right about this policy though because they had to confirm that my stone was purchased from them.

I think it’s still case by case. I reached out a month ago for a quote on a stone that was not purchased from him and they gave me a quote. I think a lot of it depends on the style of your setting as well. I think if you want something that’s NOT his usual wheelhouse (i.e. pave halo) they are more willing to set outside stones. I get the feeling that they are trying to branch out to different styles. Also, your outside stone needs to be insured by the owner as well before they will set it.

ETA: I went to go look at my emails. It was 5 weeks ago that they gave me a quote for an outside stone. This was for a hand forged custom setting and not the Bliss line. I’m guessing the Bliss line is only for his stones.

Makes sense. Has anyone gone through with choosing a Bliss setting? Any comparison pics between the hand forged and Bliss line?
