Hi PS community,

I was wondering if the Vatche X-prong setting or other Vatche settings are too high when worn on the finger? From the pictures that I can see (not sure if they''re at a bad angle or not), but they look pretty high and I was wondering if they get in the way of everyday activities, such as reaching inside your pockets, purse, etc. Thanks all.

The X-Prong is a nice height. It''s certainly not the lowest setting you can find, nor the highest. It''s just right.

Really, I don''t have any problems with mine. And no matter what height the ring is, for the most part, women subconciously learn what they can and can''t do without hitting it a lot. It''s only when you get to "Eiffel Tower" that you might have a lot of problems.

Great height but comes down to what height and comfort you are looking for...

Does anyone else have an opinion about this. Thanks everyone :)

There aren''t that many people who have this setting, and are still posting.

Do you live near a jeweler who carries Vatche so you can see for yourself?

And for what it''s worth, my first wedding set was just about as low as one can go, which I wore for 24 years. Going to this setting was not a problem.

I''ll let you know what my thoughts are when Vatche gets done making one for my FF (diamond is at Vatche and is due back in a week or so). Her ring size is a 5.0 and the diamond is a 0.826ct F SI2 AGS0-Ideal H&A so the setting will be the 1/4 ct size.. i dunno if the setting dimensions change w.r.t. carat weight but I do know the price changes.

From what I''ve read on here is that the Vatche Royal X-prong sits higher than the Vatche X-prong... but the Vatche X-prong isn''t considered to be high sitting... so take what you will from that.
