Well I am in the process of getting my diamond re-mounted into the lovely ''Caroline'' setting from Vatche
the story so far is on thread below:

The problem is that I picked my setting up a few days ago and it had to be sent straight back to Vatche because the prongs were not symmetrical - from the side profile, the prongs on one side curved out more than the other side - which where straighter - it was a subtle thing but I saw it instantly.
Now do not get me wrong, so far Vatche have been great, fab customer service, the polish is beautiful and now the diamond is set at a lovely height. I only hope the centre-stone setter at Vatche can see the problem and it comes back absolutely perfect this time because I miss my e-ring ;-(.
Question 1: Does reworking prongs more than a couple of times make them less secure?
Question 2: Has anyone else had issues with Vatche and did they fix the problem in the end to your satisfaction?
thanks
