Hello,

Vatche setting style # 119-PP-100 in platinum. What is a good price for the setting? Is $1500 reasonable for this particular piece? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Luigi

Check with ID Jewelry because they seem to have low prices on Vatche.

Plat Royal Crown in just plat typically retails for $2200. ID or Good Old Gold might be able to sell it lower than that.

Thanks for the replies. I received the setting but to me it seems very light in weight and the band is thin. When I saw the pictures online the ring band looked a lot thicker and the overall ring looked solid. Does anyone have this setting and can confirm that the band is on the thin side. Should it have come with documentation from Vatche and a box? I received it in a Vatche bag. Basically I want to make sure I was not sent a Vatche replica. It was purchased from a high volume jeweler. How do I make sure that what I received is what I :naughty: paid for?

Thanks,
Luigi

Have the ring weighed by someone with an accurate scale in grams and ask GOG or IDJ to weigh one of their rings that they know come from Vatche. If there is more than a slight difference, then possibly you do have a knock-off. Please take into account that a stock size is about 6 1/2 and if you have one which is smaller or larger the weight will be different. A 1ct diamond weights 0.2 grams so the stones are in the minor difference range. The mountings GOG or IDJ have may be without center stones. Try to compare as similar as possible.

Mine is super light also, compared to my old setting especially, and came in a little vatche bag too. It's like a 1" by 2" pouch with Vatche on it. I have the RC also, so it sounds about right. It has the Vatche stamp inside the ring correct?

Yes, It as the Vatche trademark stamped on the inside (not directly in middle) and it did come in a little leather pouch. (wonder why they do not have an actual ring box?) It did not come with any official paperwork from Vatche. I assumed that it would be heavier just by looking at the pictures on line. Gues a lot of them are magnified.

Thanks,
Luigi

I was surprised by it's weight, but my previous setting was like...a tank.

I also thought the lack of box was odd, but from what I gathered, the jeweler usually discards the pouch and puts it into his own store box.

Ame,
What does the Vatche stamp look like inside the ring? I don't believe that my wife's has it? Although I don't have it in front of me, the pictures that I see here only show the PT 900 stamp? This is a Vatche U-113 purchased from IDJ

It has Dvatche inscriped into the metal. If the ring was greatly resized, it could have been cut off.

ahhh.. her ring is a size 3... it was probably cut off.... although i didnt think a new ring would be resized?

I'm interested in the Vatche U 113 and was told by IDJ and GOG that this ring will NOT have the Vatche hallmark on the inside of the ring. I thought this seemed odd. Does anyone have this setting that does have the maker's stamp?

they probably didnt want to give the people at Tiffany a clue as to who was ripping off their ring design. :Up_to_something: ha!
