Hello again all,
I am looking to replace a ring that's gone missing. I've posted before looking for advice on asschers, but I've found the Vatache Swan 3-stone setting and LOVE it:

So I've decided on this setting but I'm not so sure on the diamonds. I want the most bang for my buck (doesn't everyone??) and here's the stones I'm considering, also from whiteflash, all ACA:

I've done some reading on the forums and in particular there's a great discussion right now on ACA diamonds here:

My number one concern on the diamonds is that they throw as much sparkle as possible. I am looking to spend between $15-18K and, if I can get the same fire and performance from a non-ACA diamond, then I'd be up for that. I'm also flexible on diamond size but want the stones to be at least 1.5ct (center) and 0.5 (sides). If I were to increase the size of any of the stones at all, I'd prefer to increase the side stones.
Do you think at "I" color ratings that I'll notice any coloring? I believe I've read that EGL certification can be off by a few notches - how is AGS (the lab reporting on the diamonds, above)?
It was also mentioned on the other thread that this might not be the best time for diamond selection. I would like to proceed sooner than later but if the selection is going to be better in the next month or two, then maybe I'd wait.
Thank-you for your guidance!!
Kelly
