ring - DOUBLE CHECK!!!
So, as many of you know we just spent an AMAZING 2 weeks in the BVI (British Virgin Islands) with Eric''s Family (Parents, Brother, and Brother''s GF). This is our second time there so all of us are pretty familiar with which spots we want to hit first, save for last, etc.
One of our favorite restaurants (The Last Resort) is in Trellis Bay (Beef Island, where the airport it). It''s about a hour and a half motor (we couldn''t sail due to wind conditions) from where we chartered our sailboat (43ft Cat). We get to Trellis bay and make a quick provision (grocery stop) and take a quick walk to the airport. Why, you ask? because your dear friend is BRILLIANT and left her cell phone on the airplane. Fortunately they had it, and I was one HAPPY camper.
Back on the sail boat, after a quick nap, we start to get ready for dinner when Eric''s parents came up, and said that they were not feeling well, and that they would go to this restaurant a different day. Well of course M2(Eric''s Brother(M1)''s GF) and i felt bad so we didn''t bother dressing up. I was even wearing a swim suit wrap and asked Eric
"should i change?"
his reply "Um, yeah might as well..."
So we take the dinghy over to the restaurant (um, and bottomed out on the way there. The bay gets incredibly shallow - 2ft and less- !) and sit down. We order, toast to our vacation, and its dinner as normal.
After dinner, M1&M2 go for a walk so Eric comes over to my side and starts giving me little kisses, all very cute of course.
AND THEN GETS DOWN ON ONE KNEE!!

(did it sink in yet, because it didn''t at first for me!!!)

His proposal was simple, elegant and more than i could have ever imagined. Just my full name, that he loves me, and will I marry him...
"Oh shit!!! YESS!!!!!" <--- always a classy broad, i am!
I was SO CAUGHT OFF GUARD!!! I was CONVINCED it was not going to happen on our trip!
While this was happening (because of course i close my eyes when we kiss) there was a table next to us, and Eric said he heard a woman gasp "I saw that!!" (when he got down on one knee) and once i said yes, they all clapped and cheered for us. I have NEVER told Eric this, but i always wanted a semi public proposal. I always thought they are romantic, and someone else gets to share in your joy!
The story gets even bigger know, because while this was happening, Eric''s Brother was proposing to his girlfriend too!!!!! (she said yes, as well!)
Both of us were so taken aback, and totally shocked at the whole play of events!
We partied the rest of the night away at the restaurant, and when we got back, Eric''s parents were already up, and ready to welcome us into the family!
It was so perfect, so amazing, and i am still in shock. In fact, i did have Eric pinch me to make sure i was not dreaming!!!!
Of course i have no stats for the ring yet, but i will asap!!
