USA Certed?

Is it just me or does USA Certed have one of the WORST looking websites ever?
With so many internet stores to choose from, I often "judge a book by its cover" inorder to narrow-down the list.
I find it very discouraging to visit their site... Since it seems USA Certed put so little time, effort, and money into their website, it makes me wonder if they run their business in the same manner.

I'm not trying to be mean, I just wish they would take some website design cues from places like Bluenile and Abazias for example.

ALTHOUGH, I have to give USA Certed two thumbs up for providing the most detailed diamond specs I've ever seen... GIA, MegaScope, BrillianceScope, H&A, and ImageScope photos/reports.

It is not just you. I agree with you 100%. The site looks way too busy. Like it wants your business really bad. The site reminds me of the jewelers that work in the diamond district trying to pull you in to their store. The word "Desperate".
On a lighter note:
I actually talked to one of the guys that work for the company on the phone, and he seemed very down to earth. Way different than the impression of the site gave me. So, I would consider doing business with them. I haven't read anything negative about them.

If I just judged it based on the looks of the site, it would of been a different story.

USA Certed has many very satisfied customers. Just search past threads for feedback from other buyers. I chatted with one of their representatives during my search. The person was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Never pushy. Even tho I wound up buying from another Vendor, I would not hesitate to call USA Certed in the future.

OMG- thought it was just me! I found lots of nice stuff on their site and like what I read on their site...what I was able to read- it was so confusing...with tiny little search boxes. So much going on...Not very "professional"... (SORRY!

I agree that a better site, together with what looks like good prices and good feedback, will lead to better business!

I agree with you 100%. Don't judge a book by its cover though. I just bought a .91 princess cut from them and it was absolutely wonderfull. It is amazing and a hell of a good price for the money! MArtin was the nicest guy and was fairly quick in returning emails and phone calls.

Stewbie, I just bought a SuperbCert from Martin at USA Certed. Their customer service is wonderful, even after the sale. They really do have detailed reports and specs for their diamonds, which made it easy for me to make my selection. It did take me little bit to figure out how to do certain things on their website, but I think that's partly because they have so many things to see. Don't dismiss them because of poor website design. If you like what you see in their selection, they really are very reasonably priced. Happy hunting.

While their website is *horrible*, I had a fabulous experience buying from them. I got amazing service and an unbeatable deal. I have purchased three stones from USACerted!

I have also noted that about 95% of the USA certed diamonds (Princess cuts) that come up on the price comparison tool at "Sorry, this stone is no longer available".

This happens even when 4 other vendors list the same stone as available.

Is the USA cert site down?

Is the pricescope price comparison using old data? or

Is USA cert right up-to-date, and the remaining vendors out of date?

They should definitely redesign their site! PS's diamond search engine led me to one of their stones. And I decided to purchase it. A day later, I tried to find the link to that diamond starting from their main site, I simply couldn't! I thought it was no longer available. I eventually had to use PS's diamond search engine to locate the link again.




Having said that, the staff at US Certed are the nicest people you can find, very professional and curtious. So if you don't like their web site, just call them. It's A LOT easier!
