Hi All,

I have a read a lot of good comments about USA Certed''s Prices and Service and i''ve decided that i feel confident enough to go with them for my diamond purchase. My problem is living in Australia phoning them is not an option - while i''m at work it''s night over there and when i''m at home my partner is always around and as the ring is to be sent in an engagement ring i can''t talk while she''s around! So i sent them an email to the Sales email address on Saturday and have had no response as yet. Has anyone emailed USA Certed before and if so what sort of response times are common?? I''m starting to run out of time and getting desperate!

Thanks for any information anyone can provide

Hi and welcome

I know it is difficult, but I would email them again explaining the urgency of the case and if you don''t hear within a day or so, find a way to follow up with a phone call. It is a busy time of year for the industry, also holidays etc so it might take longer for them to get back with you.

Good luck.

Very good advice, i''ll do that. Finding a way to phone is very very difficult though. Would be good if someone who had dealt with them could let me know how long it took but in the meantime i shall send a follow up!!

Thanks again
Jason

You are welcome! Jazmine purchased her gorgeous Marquise from Martin at USA Certed - she normally logs in soon so might see this and give you further advice

Hello! We just purchased my gorgeous oval diamond from Martin, and had a great experience. He was VERY easy to get in touch with via phone, so I would try and find a time to call. Martin himself answered the phone and I don''t remember ever having to leave a message... he was always available. He also called to check in with me repeatedly throughout the process. Email is obviously useful sometimes, but for making a major purchase like a diamond, I thought it made more sense to speak with him directly. I''d really encourage you to find the time to call at least once, but if you''d prefer to communicate via email after that, just explain your circumstances to Martin and I''m sure he''ll understand.

Phoning Canada from Australia can be very pricey.

But if you call from your computer, using SKYPE, it is very inexpensive.

Not sure of the rate but I am guessing it would be 1-3 cents ( US ) per minute.

Hope this helps

I lived near Sydney for a year and always called my family in canada (where US cert. is located) buy a $10 phone card at the corner store ( i think i used yakyak or something like that) the prices are so cheap--4-6 cents a min. Then sneak out and give them a call!

Hi All,
Thanks for all your advice and help!! Martin from USA Certed emailed me last night (my time) and he was as professional and helpful as everyone says and they are definitely value for money - I can recommend USA Certed to anyone!

Glad we were able to help! Look forward to sharing in your journey with your ring and seeing pics of the finished result!

Yup, I did work with Martin. I also found that he answered the phone himself almost every time I called. He was great to work with and I am sure you will find the same. I know you are not local, but Martin will send the diamond out to an appraiser who can evaluate the diamond and give you lots of information on it. This may be of interest to you since you cannot see it yourself first. I had this done and recieved an entire binder full of detailed magnified pictures and evaluations. I worked with Richard Sherwood, who I also highly recommend. He can be your "eyes" for you so to speak. He will honestly tell you how the diamond looks.
