I''m considering purchasing this 1.26 ct. G-VS1 diamond to serve as the center stone in a setting with 0.90 cttw. F-VS diamonds channel set on the sides (i.e., 3 small diamonds on each side):

http://www.whiteflash.com/diamonds/diamond_Details.aspx?itemcode=AGS-6782310#

I would GREATLY appreciate any advice, including:

(1) would a H&A stone "clash" with the stones in the setting;

(2) would you recommend purchasing a stone online from Whiteflash; and/or

(3) is the stone competitively/reasonably priced???

Thank you in advance for any/all advice!!!

No, it will not clash. Your eyes will not be able to perceive the difference in color from the top, especially with the stones mounted.

They are highly thought of here. Good people.

They are highly thought of here. Good people, fair pricing

Good luck with your new ring.

Wink

This stone should be an excellent choice in that setting! (G VS1 is a personal favorite of mine, too!)
I helped my brother-in-law pick out a diamond from WhiteFlash about 2 weeks ago and everything was great! You pay a little price premium to get "A Cut Above", but then you know you are getting the very best cut! Please post pictures of your finished ring!

1-won''t clash-each of the little ones are like 3.5 mm. tiny compared to the big one. this is your own setting?
2-lots of people have had good experiences. returning stones was not a problem if the new client didn''t like it. you will be out shipping, though.
3-compare apples to apples. ACAs are great value compared to other branded H&A. this one is probably better value, though: http://www.whiteflash.com/round_ideal_cut/Round-Ideal-Cut-cut-diamond-2318227.htm

Welcome to pricescope Riagain! JulieN has found you a fantastic diamond there, but the one you are considering looks pretty darn good too. Either one would look just fine in a setting with smaller stones and I wouldn''t have any concerns about buying from Whiteflash.

Don''t like the pavilion variation on that 1.3.......kinda broad range!

Thank you ALL for the VERY helpful advice/opinions/suggestions! I have a follow-up question regarding the H&A ACA diamond I originally referenced above. When you look at the Ideal Scope image, the "arrowhead" at high noon appears to be "broken off." Is this normal?
