Beautiful stones! I can't say much except that just be sure the SI2 is eye clean; well ensure both are but especially the SI2 since its more susceptible to plain eye inclusions.

Thanks. Yes, both stones are eye clean and the SI2's inclusion is prongable :-)

Any other input? I'd like to make the purchase today :-D

They both should be nice by the numbers. Ask GOG to walk you through a comparison or do a video.

Hard to decide! Both look good by numbers and your H&A pics. I think I'd go with #1. (merely a flip of the coin, tho) and definitely I'd want to be certain BOTH are eye clean at a specific distance. You determine that distance - 8"? 10"? 12"? and from top/sides? or top only?

If GOG could make you a video - that would be very helpful. Hopefully you have both stones on hold?

Thanks everyone!

Sarah from GOG actually took both stones around the office and took a Poll for me  I can't get over how terrific their customer service is. If anyone from GOG ever sees this thread... THANK YOU!!

I actually went with Diamond #2. It was a higher color and the 2 inclusions that warranted the SI2 clarity rating are "barely noticeable". The GOG jeweler said the main inclusion can be covered by a prong without problems and the other is in a location that is extremely difficult to see.

I'm happy and extremely excited!!!

Now, I have to be a MIW (man in waiting  ) and have the stone sent to Mark Morrell for mounting.

Thanks for all the help!

Great, we look forward to seeing the pics!!
