I am fairly new to PriceScope but have found the content extremely valuable in my process of looking for an engagement ring. I am looking at an Asscher cut and have found two possible options. I wanted to get your opinion on each of them and what you would recommend.

First Asscher (Left in Picture)
1.51ct
Cut: Very Good
Color: H
Clarity: VS1
Measurements: 6.28 x 6.25

Second Asscher (Right in Picture)
1.45ct
Cut: Very Good
Color: I
Clarity: VS1
Measurements: 6.75 x 6.51

Any general advice on Asscher cuts is also welcome. I am struggling to find the right balance between cut, color, clarity and size. Since the Asscher cut measures smaller at a similar carat size to other cuts, I am having to sacrafice some of the other aspects cut, color, clarity to get into my price range.

Thanks for all your help and insight.

Can your vendor provide you with ASET images of these stones? video? It's very difficult to determine anything from the information and photos provided.

I owned an I color asscher and felt that it was very white in the face up position with a very very slight tint from the side. How color sensitive are you? Are you willing to see a very slight tint from the side in order to achieve a larger stone? A VS1 will be safe, you may even be fine to drop to a VS2, but I wouldn't go lower than that without being able to view the stone myself.
