Sorry for clogging up the forum with posts but I am trying to getting all my ring details sorted so I can have them prior to xmas

Size 9 Finer. This will be for my RHR only. To be worn daily, however to be removed during exercise, cleaning ect
I am currently looking at a Uprong 9 x 20 pointer, however before I pull the trigger I am wondering if I should go full eternity.
Options:

9 x 20 pointer

9 x 25 pointer

Full eternity 20 pointer

Full eternity 15 pointer

Again I really would love to hear peoples opinion.

I would always go for a full eternity. I hate spinning and seeing metal. Not worried about fingers getting bigger. Will deal if that happens.

I don't know how much 9 stone can cover. Is it 1/2? I won't choose half eternity as I don't like seeing metal when ring spins. Have you considered 3/4 eternity or even those with just a sizing bar at the bottom in case you need a resize in future?

Just a consideration: some ladies mentioned that their fingers are uncomfortable when the melee are too large as they can feel the melee between their fingers. Have you try on melee size to determine what will feel comfortable to you if you're going for full or 3/4 eternity? I suppose 15 points are still comfortable between the fingers but 20 pointers are more substantial. Would 20 points still be comfortable enough for you?

I completely agree. My rings spin a bit especially in the cooler weather but it doesn't matter because they are full eternity otherwise it would annoy me.

I recommend trying on some full eternities with 15 pointers and 20 pointers to see which you prefer and if they are both comfortable. Thecat is right in that comfort is an important factor with eternities and larger stones especially. I never had an eternity with anything bigger than 10 pointers which are very comfortable for me. Not sure how I would feel with an eternity of 20 pointers though I suppose I could get used to the extra bling. :cheeky:

Hi Paulav, this is my 7 stone half eternity - total carat weight is 2.13ct, so about 30pts each. I was originally going to go for a full eternity but 30 pointers would have been too uncomfortable. I am a size 9 as well - (on my right hand). It does have a tendency to turn, although it doesn't bother me. A full eternity is still something I would ilke in maybe 10 to 15pts. When I had this ring made, I wanted no smaller than 30pt stones. We girls with larger fingers need bigger bling. That's my excuse. :lol:photo-6_8.jpg

Thank's Missy, I was having trouble uploading. :wavey:

For stones in that size range I love a full eternity, it's such a glam look.

Count me in the minority, I vote 1/2 eternity with bigger stones  .
After trying a full eternity, I hate the way the diamonds can crunch and clink against unexpected objects on the palm side, and find it bothers me more than ring spin. I always worry about chipping and the setting warping  . (Maybe I'm a little paranoid)
Try wearing a fashion jewellery full eternity for a week or two to see how it fits into your life.

Hi everybody thanks for your input. Yes I to am convinced that the Full eternity is the way to go, I don't like spinning and think I would eventually remake it anyway because I wouldn't be happy. I have paid twice for to many things in life so I just want to get it right the first time. I have messed around with some cz rings in the past to get a bit of an idea on size and feeling, so providing its well made I shouldn't have an issue with that. It will depend on price though if I decide the 15 or 20's. I have tried 15's in the past and loved that size, from there though I had only tried 40's and up but Im sure 20's will look great.

Thanks so much Monnyjay your ring is stunning and it seriously looks so big and beautiful on your hand. I love it! I completely agree that we girls need bigger bling, and that's the excuse I continually give to my partner  I to one day would love a 7 stone in a larger size but for now I think a full eternity in the 15 or 20 is what my heart really desires. Thank you so much for sharing the pics its so hard to find somebody with a similar size finger on here so it really helped.
