Hi Everyone,
I am seriously considering upgrading my .59ct True Hearts diamond that I purchased as a anniversary upgrade from James Allen earlier this year. I have spent too much time lurking here and DSS has already set in :naughty: .
I searched the JA site and found a few options that would fit between the price range required for their upgrade policy and the top of my budget.
All three of these pass the HCA and are GIA triple excellent. I think at least one of them is a 60/60 diamond, but I'm not sure if I would notice the difference between that style of cut and the one I would be trading in.
I really love how my little True Hearts diamond performs, but I am unable to find any True Hearts in the size I am hoping for within my budget.
I am hoping whichever diamond I choose will be just as beautiful, so I'm wondering if any of these would be a great choice?

Option 1:

Option 2:

Option 3:

And this is my current diamond for reference:

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

I honestly don't care for any of them to be honest. The third is the best of the three on numbers, but I don't love any. What's your budget? All three say not available so I can't help look at price ranges.

If I had to pick, #3 would be my choice. Otherwise, I would not get the first 2. I'd keep looking. :))

Thanks for the honest opinions!
Ame-My original diamond was $2330, so to upgrade it, the new diamond would have to be over $4,660 and I am trying to stay under $5,000 max. If there is anything else you know of in that price range I would love to see it :-)

Are you in a rush? I would honestly wait a couple of weeks for JA to get more inventory so that you have more to select from.

Thanks for the suggestions Ame. I prefer G or higher in color, so the one that is a G that you linked looks nice to me. I did notice that one is a Very Good cut, and I thought it was recommended here to stick with Excellent cuts. Is that not always true? I'm just curious because I could possibly widen my search if a Very Good cut diamond could have potential.

TwoLittleBirds, I'm not in too much or a hurry, so I could wait for James Allen to replenish their stock. I hadn't thought about the fact that they probably got pretty cleaned out due to the holiday. Thanks for mentioning that!

I was browsing and found one more that passed the HCA and am wondering what thought on this one are:

You should also consider upgrading with whiteflash. I, too, am looking to upgrade my James Allen .8 rb f-if. They gave me a reasonable preliminary quote and said I only need to spend 50% more the value. So, now I'm deciding which diamond and which setting.

About the upgrade policy

Thank you for sharing this!
This may be a better option for me than upgrading through James Allen. I would much prefer to spend 50% more the value, than the 100% more James Allen requires. I had no idea that I could possibly upgrade my James Allen stone through Whiteflash, so thank you very much for bringing this to my attention :-)
