This may seem like an unusual suggestion. If you ever plan on upgrading your e-ring, think about your choices now.

My plain, very narrow & shallow, wedding band is so hard to find a complementary new ring. There wasn''t an option to reset the old e-ring so looking for a suitable ring that doesn''t look mismatched is really difficult.

I went to stores and tried on various types of rings for inspiration. White gold or platinum looked awful beside the 18K YG.

I''ve decided on a similar but different theme. I never dreamed it would be this hard.

This is the diamond I chose.

I will show you the ring when it is all done.

Wow, great choice!! That will be a stunner for sure! What setting are you having done? IS BGD doing the setting?

Yes, Brian is doing the split shank rope solitaire in YG.

I think upgrading and keeping the same wb always are incompatible to a degree, because of the issue you mention. I switched my original wb to my right hand because I didn''t want my setting options limited by my wb.
