Unsure of Selected Cushion Cut because of J color

Currently selecting a cushion cut 2.01ct. I went in person to see the stones. 5 GIA stones, ranging from H to J. While I can see the difference in color, the color different was very slight. The J was still very white. I didn't see as much yellow or warmth to it as all the other pictures of Js I've seen online. And it was barely less white than the H.

I also hear that J's for cushion is not good.

These pictures aren't that great with a cellphone but just curious as to whether anyone has any opinions on this diamond. Yay or nay?

Don't worry about the slight color difference. Go for the stone with the best cut and the most sparkle.

I can't tell anything about the diamond from those pictures. I'm sorry.

If you have seen it in person, and it is white, and you like it, then I don't see why the color grade should bother you.

One of my good friends has a J cushion. It's gorgeous and very white.

Color is a spectrum. There are whiter J's and more tinted ones.

How are you planning on setting it? That might make a difference.

Halo setting.

I have a J colored AVC and in most conditions, it does not have much tint except for on the side view. Just be aware that in a halo, you may notice more contrast in color compared to the melee.
