Avatars become smushed because they aren''t cropped as perfect squares, so when you upload it, the forum automatically shrinks the wide side to match the short side.

Yeah, my Avatar is the ring I''m going to propose to my girlfriend with. (I hope she doesn''t know about this forum!) I absolutely love it and I think she will too.

Unfortunately a spinning avatar is quite a project, because you have to take a screen shot every half second, then paste them all together. It also helped that my ring was on youtube, so i could make a much better quality animation of it. The Ritani website shows them kind of small.

Here is my attempt at doing the ring justice... Let me know what you think.

Yes, perfect square. In paint when you draw a crop rectangle it will tell you the pixel size in the bottom right corner, just make sure the numbers are the same!
