Hi all,
I found this the other day in a bulk jewelry lot and I think it's old but I can't find anything like it online to identify. I also can't tell what it once was- a pendant? Does anyone have any idea what this is, who made it and if it has any value?
Part of it has broken off, but it still feels like it is something special?
Thanks so much in advance for any thoughts!

Thanks for any help!

It's costume jewelry, and the stones appear to be plastic.
It looks like a component to a bigger piece of jewelry, or maybe half of a clasp on a decorative belt? Mysterious!

My first thought was belt buckle. Seems like a fun piece to repurpose!

Thank you both for the input!! I did think belt buckle too, but I wasn't sure.
The pale blue, reddish and yellow "stones" are definitely plastic but I was thinking maybe Bakelite? The black and olive parts are very stone-like (onyx for the black part) or maybe a thick enamel?
The backing is what made me think it's really old-- it just looks a lot like other early things I've seen.
Thanks again!!!
:D
