My fiance and I have been looking at wedding bands recently, and of course she seems to be in love with a ring that has proven to be extremely difficult to find. She found it in a local jewelery store, but after searching through the NYC Diamond District as well as across the internet, the only thing I've been able to find has been a similar, less "blingy" ring at Blue Nile.

I was hoping someone here would know of anywhere else that might carry a similar type of ring. Below are the links for the local store, as well as the ring from Blue Nile. We were trying to stay under $2,000, but it appears that may be difficult. Thanks in advance for any help!

No idea about that ring - but love the one in the first link!! WOW!!

Check out www.stuller.com and www.uniquesettings.com.. If you can get to the NY diamond district easily (and it seems you are in the area), there are PS vendors that can order it for you....

Thanks for the help! There are similar rings on those sites, but nothing that really matches the brilliance of the first ring that I posted. Would you think that it is a custom piece for that store?

We really can't go above $2,000 for the ring, and I am getting the feeling from her that that is the ring. If I can't find something close that will do, is it usually possible to negotiate with a store like that?

Thanks so much for helping this lost fiance!

She posted earlier when she found the ring: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/unmatchy-band-with-novo-ering.126900/

It's from a site called antiqueengagementrings.com, and if this is it, it's quite a bit more than you'd budgeted.

You might want to check out this site; the "matching wedding band sold separately" looks a lot like what you wanted, but I don't see it on the site. http://www.since1910.com/engagement/simon-g/simon-g-andquot;twistandquot;-diamond-engagement-ring-mr1596-ps2828.aspx
