unique corundum cab

wanted to share my new unique corundum which I made a capsule cab. well its the first time I came across such specimen where it gradients from white to red. Its not all that good clarity wise..but found it kinda different

To be honest, that''s a good example of everything one doesn''t want in a ruby. It''s a stone, but I don''t think one could really call it a gemstone.

true..I agree with you..but its just something I wanted to share..and thats the reason I did not mention it as a ruby

It may be challenged colour and clarity wise, but if you like it, you like it.
