Using a 1B class EC for an example...the recommended table percentage is between 63.6-64.1% and/or 60.9-60%. Is one for ECs and one for Radiants? Why is one set of numbers in an increasing percentage trend and the other in a decreasing percentage trend? Am I reading too much into this? Please help me understand. Thanks, PJ

This thread I posted a while back for my Radiant search should help!

AGA Cut charts post

It's tough decifering whichnumber is the best, but basically those "sets" of numbers are simply parameters the Table, depth, etc can safely fall under to make that grade. They are only sperated, becuse there can be higher tables, with higher depths that sparkle, so unlike a round, the stones in these cuts are so much more unregimented for perfection and require more skill to find. Also, just stick with mid 60's for table and depth and you should be OK.

We searched for over 2 months (daily) for a stone within the 1A or 1B parameters and just didn't find it. We DID find an excellent 2A, and we finally snatched that up! Keep looking and remember that the stone speaks for itself and not the charts!

It's to account for complimentary angles ranges. If you have this % on top, then you need this % on the bottom.
