Here's my new RHR- graduated 5 stone OECs. I had asked for the ring to be very low-set, and ERD nailed it. The stones are 5.3mm, 4mm, and 3mm.

This is probably the best photo I have of my ring, a 0.39 ct which is being upgraded to a 0.73ct OEC, so I'll still belong to this thread! :D

Hi Everyone,

We picked up my Ritani Cushion Cut Halo setting on Saturday. The diamond is a family heirloom, 5.3mm, round OMC. Thanks to Pricescope I was able to see so many "real life" pictures of settings, and ask questions about different vendors. I think Ritani did an excellent job, it's so pretty; 14k white gold, size 4.75. I think the proportions are perfect. We're really happy. I'm sorry the pictures are so big, and on an iPhone, ugh!

I have been meaning to post my rings here for ages. I got married in January so they still feel new and I can't stop looking at them. My engagement ring is a 0.90 carat, Ex/Ex/Ex F VS2 from Blue Nile in their classic four claw platinum setting. My wedding ring is from a local jeweller in the UK and has 12 diamonds totalling 0.17, also in platinum. image_1146.jpg image_1599.jpg image_1601.jpg

What a beautiful, classic set, UkButterfly! May I ask what size your finger is?

Thank you! Yes of course. My engagement ring is a UK N and my wedding ring is N and a half which I think in the US is around 7 to 7 and a half, I'm not 100% sure :)

Thanks, UkButterfly! I have a .95 stone which has sat in a drawer for years and I'd like to make a move on setting it. My fingers are a 6-6 1/2, so it should look, size-wise, not dissimilar to yours. I'm very pleased about that, as I think the size of yours on your hand looks just right. :)

Thank you again!

I had to post a picture literally AS SOON as this diamond was in my hot little hands.
I cannot express my gratitude enough for the help of all you Pricescopers in choosing this beauty - THANKS AGAIN!!

It's a 0.518ct G VS1 AGS Ideal 0 Round Brilliant, and now it's patiently waiting for my setting to be finished so it can sit nicely in its new home!

0.9ct J/VS1 on US 3.75 finger on a custom-made white gold ring by a local jeweler paired with a white gold engraved band from a Japanese jeweler locally. This is not my wedding set.

img_5579.jpg

The stone doesn't usually look yellow must be reflecting light from somewhere.

img_6630.jpg

Name of the Japanese jewelry store that carries a wide range of made in japan jewelry locally in my country.

Hi Jimmianne! It was actually your diamond suggestion that I ended up purchasing, so thank you!! I just got the setting today, so can't wait for it to be complete!

My new engagement ring! 1/4 carat round brilliant with .03 carat in tiny sidetones. It's an heirloom from 1946 so I don't know exact stats, but the appraisal says VVS and colorless. Platinum setting. His grandfather had it engraved with the date they got engaged and their initials. Its amazing!

This community is so lovely and inspiring! My ring is from Tiffany & Co., .49ct, Excellent Cut, H, and VVS1. I'm a size 5.75. We went with Tiffany because I've always obsessed over their solitaire settings and appreciated their ethical sourcing. I adore my ring -- we purchased it preowned to avoid the markup :appl: -- and I won't upgrade, especially since I lead an active lifestyle and work with highly disadvantaged groups. I don't believe I've seen any Tiffany & Co. emerald cut solitaires here thus far, particularly in this size, so I hope this post will help someone!

Logan Sapphire: a little late to your party, but that is a gorgeous ring! I am not generally a bezel person, but those OECs look so sleek and elegant in it. Love it!

BlondeAries: beautiful ring. That setting is lovely with the twining "leaves" and "stems" (at least that's what it looks like to me). :))

Here's my new diamond! It's the first one that I've purchased myself. All my other diamonds were gifts, so this one is very special to me even though it's small by PS standards.

Still working on a setting for it. I kinda want to keep it simple and let the diamond shine. I did toy with a pave shank, halo, bezel, milgrain, etchings, etc etc. but leaning towards a classic solitaire with claw prongs at the moment... who knows, I might change my mind tomorrow :naughty: :naughty:

It's an AVR from Good Old Gold. 0.7ct G, SI2 but eye clean. (I'm more of a colored stones person normally so I'm comfortable with the idea of inclusions so long as it faces up eye clean and comes with a nice price tag)

A very pretty stone! I hope you'll post photos when you decide on a setting. One of my own favorite diamonds is a 0.60 RB set in a $240 wire twist from JA. You can never go wrong with a solitaire for a stone you love to look at.
