Good question... it looks like a typo: either from ekanite or, more likely, unakite as the other posts say too.
As far as I know, 'Unakite' is a trade name used to describe what is in the picture above: an altered granitic rock made up of pink feldspar and green epidote.
Ekanite, is a dark brownish green mineral that comes in facetable crystals sometimes, but it is only cut for collectors, not for jewelry use. It is slightly radioactive and color change from brownish green to red. Among the sellers posting and talked about here... Gemline (used to?) have a super bit of Ekanite clean, large and cute as much as this gem can. This one below is listed by D&J Rare Gems - I don't know if they were mentioned by anyone else; I kept track of their website after buying a little something ages ago.
