Uh oh! McCain was going to rely on his VP to be the brains about the economy. Did anybody remember that?

Except Sarah is Governor of Alaska, with over 15,000 employees. I''m sure her budget was a lot higher too. She has executive experience. She''s balanced a budget.

Look, I''m not the biggest Sarah Palin fan, but this is silly in my opinion. I guess I''m not sure how it''s supposed to be an insult.
Here is the answer Obama gave to Anderson Cooper when asked how their experience compares.
“My understanding is that Gov. Palin’s town, Wassilla, has I think 50 employees. We’ve got 2500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe 12 million dollars a year – we have a budget of about three times that just for the month,” Obama responded.

Let''s see. The banks won''t lend money despite being nationalized. The Fed slashed interest rates again today to try to blast them into it. Wall Street has crashed. Unemployment is up. Foreclosures are up. But Sarah Palin can balance her checkbook. I mean a budget. So you want her to take over from Henry Paulson in January?

How does Obama''s economic experience compare?
And if we''re going to go with judgment, then maybe McCain should make a similiar ad with a big fat Biden ''Malarkey!'' at the end, since Obama chose him for his Foreign policy experience and he just revealed that he''s forgotten more about it than his colleagues know.
