ugh the indecisiveness on shape!!

You're going to get a lot of different opinions on this site, but here's mine, for what it's worth. ;))

You know what she wants (minus the shape of the center)- a three stone with pave down the side. Get that. I would probably go princess since it's what she wanted before and you can get one that sparkles like crazy.

The second part, the shape of the center, sounds like you could go either way, but I really wouldn't deviate from what she's told you she loves. With an $8000+ budget you can get a 1 carat princess with a three-stone pave setting. Does WF have access to Gabriel NY settings? Or even something they can bling out from Stuller? I'd see what options they can get in.

thanks so much for the input everyone. I think i'll take a day off sometime this week to really hammer this whole thing down. It's very distracting at work lol
maybe i should just tell her to go on this thread and pick out what she really wants

 not a bad idea!

I'm kind of biased here, since I fly to these unerringly, but ... have you thought of putting your hands together, as it were?

I love the faceting on rounds.

I love square outlines.

Hence, I always go for fishtail prongs/box settings. Like this: http://jewelsbyericagrace.smugmug.c...opean/22021747_BNDTZv#!i=1757073072&k=tnspk6V
