ugh job application screw up

No, no, I think you''re fine. They just want some kind of character reference. Your positive outlook will shine through. If they want more references, they''ll ask. Follow up this week with a friendly phone call to make sure they received everything alright; make sure you talk with a supervisor. Any little effort to stand out like that helps. Good luck!

hey don''t worry to much about the application! Once you get that interview, then you will really have a chance to WOW them!
For me, when i would interview people, the only thing that would truly throw me off an application (on their application) is messy hand writing and lack of explanation of skills sets.

Thanks for your responses. I decide to delete the above post just to be on the safe side. Suddenly I''m paranoid about who could be reading! I know that is crazy. Possibly it''s just the stress of figuring out how to get back into the workforce.

I went through something similar after I was a SAHM and then went back to school. I had professor references but no work experience in my field. It was nerve wracking, but once you get your foot in the door, you''ll be fine. Many people go/are going through this right now as we speak, so please don''t feel lke you stand out.
