Two vendors, two completely different cut grading

Ignore the gradings posted by different vendors. Different companies use different algorithms to filter their inventory. Effectively, they are still the same stone and they are "perceived" differently. The information as a result, can be misleading.

I would check the GIA certificate itself for any cut info.

GIA currently doesn't offer a cut grade for fancy shapes.

I think this is common problem filtering the Fancy shape stones, every online store has different formulas to grade
cut and same stone can differ in Cut grade, this leads to confusion, GIA does not grade the Cut of Fancy stones.
Maybe you could contact the Customer Service of both the companies and ask how they grade the cut as Excellent,
what parameters they look into while grading, it may help.
