Two similar ovals: are these good cuts/one better?

First, just wondering if these are good cuts for ovals, being that it''s harder to gauge the cut of an oval, and then second, if my price is right?:

Since ovals cannot be judged on their numbers alone, I would need to see a picture, at least. This chart will help you determine the quality of the cut.

In this case, would it best to ask for one, even though they''re not the most valuable of stones? Should a helpful, legitimate, jeweler do an ideal scope and or asset image without asking?
