Hi folks,

So after some time of watching and investigating I've found two stones I am considering in depth. I've decided to go around 70pt, and to go for colour over clarity.

Any opinions on these?

SYMMETRY VERY GOOD
POLISH EXCELLENT

Tiffany?

Go for the F.

Yup, the F is £475 ish less, and slightly bigger. Will wait for the final viewing to see if I can tell the difference between the E and F without the vendor telling me which is which....

Thanks!

Just back to the top as two days before D-day, any more opinions on the quality of these stones and whether the £475 for E is good value?

Thanks WT

If you couldn''t tell them apart, go with the F.

I''d say go with the one you liked the looks of best, and if they looked the same, get the F.

I would also get the F.

Ditto.

i''m completly newbie here can someone explain why the F is a better choice? i thought E is better quality and only slightly smaller....also, how can you tell it''s tiffany just from that description? you guys are good

You need to give the diameter measurements of the two stones so we can see the size difference. But I think the measurements of the E stone are closer to ideal, so thus far, I''d pick it. But that depends on the size difference.

I think they''re saying choose the F to save you some $$ (On a side note, how do you get the english pound symbol on your computer?).

Precision of Cut is a Tiffany term. Good luck, choose the one that looks best to your eyes.

Hmm, the £ is under the number 3 key. I looked at stones in some other countries but the logistics and taxes proved them to be only slightly cheaper than these in the UK that I can travel myself to get.

I think I will ask the dealer to cover the labels and then try and tell the E from the F. The E also has better symmetry, but otherwise both seem great with very high HCTs. If I can''t tell the different (doubt I''ll be able to see 3 points of difference) then I''ll prob go with the F.

Thanks all.
