Hi all
As I''m only still learning about all those wonderful diamonds I''m going to ask a question that will appear quite silly - but I really don''t know which way to go.
I am trying to decide between two pairs of diamond studs both of which are ideal cut. Now I know you normally need all the data on the diamonds to make the right answer but just an idea as to which way you would go is fine by me.
One is about 1ct total weight and the other is .85ct (we wear them a lot smaller in Australia). The 1ct (4.5x4.5mm)has g/h colour and VS2/SI1 clarity with excellent polish & symmetry. The .85ct (4.0x4.0mm) has e colour with VS1 clarity and excellent polish & symmetry. Both pairs of studs are within the 64%-75% for depth and 59%-72% range.
What should I choose with this limited amount of info??? I need to make up my mind asap as I''m having the setting changed to yellow gold.
Thanks once again for your valued help.
