out just great I think. Mine is a gold band with black antiquing, not a sparklie to be found. That is quite a lovely set, wear it with happiness and health!

My mom wore a wedding band with her first wedding set... but since my dad upgraded her to a standalone ring several years ago, she hasn''t worn a band with it. So I feel like I''m just following in her footsteps... Family tradition That actually reminds me... I need to get pics of my mom''s ring on here... You guys would love it! JB Star setting, 3 ct oval... I think it''s 8 cts total weight... That''ll be my next post!!!

I love that!!! Power Rangers unite! So cute... I will for sure try and take some pics of my mom''s ring this weekend. It''s amazinggggg! I just LOVE JB Star rings... TDF. After asking my mom to wear her ring every time we were together, it made it pretty hard when I was out ring shopping... I only liked the huge diamonds and super expensive settings like JB!!! Ah, my poor fiance! I think we settled on the perfect size and setting for me, especially at my age!! He got the diamond and setting from Since1910.com and they have a great upgrade policy, so maaaaybe, just maybe, someday I''ll have my own JB Star. Until then, I''ll just have to keep trying on my mom''s...

As an old married woman

I can tell you that there will be many times in your life when you will want to wear just your wb. Since wbs are traditionally on the left hand, I wonder if you might want to make sure you can wear the band on that hand too? If your hands are the same size then you don''t need to worry, but if one is larger that the other I would recommend sizing the wb for the left and wearing the e-rning on the right.

Also, if you think you will be sentimental about always wearing the ring that was used for your vows, then you might want to consider also having a plain plat/wg band for the ceremony, for wearing when the bling is not really practical. I know, I know, sacrilege to say, but such times do come up unfortunately

I think your two rings are individualy beautiful and look just phenomenal together. I love shopping at Nordstrom too. For some reason, the SAs have a much nicer, more helpful attitude than those at Bloomies or Saks.

I agree with dd 100%. There will be times when wearing bling might not be the best choice, so I would get a small platinum band too.

Are you local to them? They have a great selection of settings. I am a huge Nordstrom fan as well. I try to stay away because I can definitely go a little crazy there. I haven''t
done it for a while, but I used to take my kids shopping there for their school clothes at the July anniversary sale every year. I really had it done to a science. But I have
to say, it was quite a feat to take 5 kids shopping at 7 am to get school clothes!

I never get tired of seeing your ring, I have it on my desktop! It is upgrade worthy! Love it. Congrats again, they are both gorgeous!
