1. Shape & Cutting Style: Round Brilliant
Carat: 1.01
Clarity: VS2
Color: E
Cut: Excellent
Fluorescence: Medium Blue

2. Shape & Cutting Style: Round Brilliant
Carat: 1.00
Clarity: VS2
Color: F
Cut: Excellent
Fluorescence: None

I am trying to choose between the two diamonds described above. The differences are one is 1.01 carat with E color and medium blue fluorescence and the other is 1 carat with F color and none fluorescence. Should I buy the one with medium blue of fluorescence because of the size and E color or the 1 carat one? Does the medium blue fluorescence matter?

Any advice is welcomed and appreciated.

Post the GIA report numbers.

EDT:
Medium blue is mostly unnoticeable in most situation as most in door lighting do not have significant amount of UV component to activate it to an observable level, maybe in a nightclub.

I would say this boils down to a personal preference. SC is right, medium blue florescence is not strong enough to murk up the color. Usually only when you deal with strong and very strong florescence is that an issue.

I personally think that florescence is a cool feature. I really want to see a J or I with a strong or very strong blue florescence.

Need both of them so we can compare the crown/pavillion angle/percentages against each other.
