I am going to get these two shipped to me in LA so I can see them both in person. I''m a little worried that the one without flouresence will be too yellow for my taste. They are both about the same in price, so which one would YOU prefer just going off numbers? TIA!

#2: very strong what color?

I wouldn't judge these by numbers so much, see which one you like best when you see them in person. I take it you decided against the other cushion?

Yeah, I''m pretty dead set against it, especially with the EGL cert.

Mark is looking at the stones for me right now. I think the 2.28 might have strong blue?

Pretty drastic difference between the L/W ratios on these stones. Just going by the numbers, I prefer #2. I like a L/W ratio closer to #2. I like the specs on paper but would want to make sure that it's eye clean without inclusions that would cause any structural problems as well. Can you ask for photos of both before they get called in to check performance?

Ok then you are in excellent hands, Mark won't steer you wrong, he has an superb eye for a cushion and you can trust his recommendation! Strong blue is usual for fluorescence and if there is an issue with it ( rare) Mark will let you know, but this is unusual.

Thanks guys! I''ll ask him for some pics! I agree, the L/W ratio is better on the second stone.

I''m looking forward to seeing pics. We don''t often get to see the AGS graded cushions.
