Hi everyone

I'm not sure if anyone has seen my other thread I'm trying to find a diamond for my pendant and I have narrowed it down two thanks to ame and jambalaya. Great HCA score but they are SI1 due to budget however I have been told both are eye clean. Whih is good enough for me as it's for a pendant and not a ring.
Now the question is are twinning wisp in SI1 really eye clean and will it effect the structure and brilliance.
The other stone has crystals one in the able and a couple near the edge how id anything would this effect the brilliance and structure of the stone would it more likely to get damaged.

Would be greatful for any help :)

Hi Zah, you might want to post the GIA certificates or the GIA report numbers of each stone. :wavey:

You cant tell from a GIA lab report if a stone is eye clean, in fact usually the case is the worse looking GIA plots are the 'better ' stones as a single crystal on a plot will likely be more visible than scattered stuff like twinning wisps

Interesting.
What do you recommend? Both are eye clean from BLuenile but I know eye clean is somewhat subject.
What if the crystal is colourless?

Feathers in the kite facet area are the best inclusions. Crystals can look dark from different areas and also have stress around them.

Zah, why don't you get the 0.64 and when you receive it, take it to a local jeweler to have a look at it and maybe get an appraisal? After all, the stone is totally returnable. If the jeweler says the wisp is bad or if you just don't like the look of it, you can always go the VS2 route. But so many people are happy with their eyeclean Si1s that is would be a pity to have to get a smaller diamond without giving the larger size a chance. That's just my opinion, anyway. The choice is yours! (But it's low-risk, anyway, since you have 30 days to return it.)
