My fiance wants a tungsten carbide ring. We saw one in a local jewelry store that he loves. It was a faceted TrewTungsten ring "Trew24" (7mm) for $1000+ - http://www.trewtungsten.com/collection.php

After doing some searching, I came accross this ring which looks similar and 20% of the cost of the TrewTungsten at Tungsten World!!! - http://www.tungstenworld.com/display-product.html?id=9

and the warranty/guarantee/satisfaction policy is definitely pretty good:

So, my question is, does anyone have any experience with this company? The savings is pretty significant (this ring is almost 1/5 of the TrewTungsten Ring).

Tungsten is not a precious metal, unlike gold or platinum where most of the cost goes into the material the majority of the cost that goes into tungsten, titanium, stainless steel, etc jewelry is mostly labor. And if it''s the same design, the labor to make that ring should be roughly the same then the one you saw in the store... So what I''m saying is I think they''re trying to take advantage of you :) Buy the one online!

Just my 2c :)
