Trying to track down a hat designer!

I saved the images to my hard drive ages ago, and trying to track down the designer is driving me batty. Anybody recognize the style? I remember she was an NYC based designer, but I don't even have a pic of the specific hat I want! It was this wonderful woven red wool shot with sequins, with a mohawk-style strip of fur like a Roman soldier's helmet running down the middle. I know it sounds odd, but it was SO COOL. Tried calling the store where I saw it, and they had no idea what I was talking about.

This look familiar to any of you, my wonderful PS brain-trust?
