I would love to get your feedback on which of these ACA stones from White Flash is the best option. I''m currently leaning toward the 0.716, but I also don''t know how to read Idealscope images. It seems to me that the main tradeoff is between the size of the spread and the quality of the cut (along with the price), but I do realize that the differences are small. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My other alternative is an AGS0 from Excel (0.71 F VVS2) for $2,623, but I haven''t received the images from them yet.

Here is a link to a page comparing the three stones listed below, along with two more stones for the same price as Option 1: http://www.whiteflash.com/diamonds/Compare_Diamonds.aspx?idnos=114374,114377,912085,912086,912087

I like the 0.713c the best, best price, best square princess cut, prefer it''s IS and ASET pic.

that''s a lot of stones to look through...best bet is to call up WF and tell them you''re considering XYZ stones and if they could help you pick one.

Ditto

Thank you for your help.

Stone-cold, did you mean the .716?

Sorry about the number of choices, Julie. I didn''t mean to be a burden. I''m really most interested in choosing between the 3 I''ve listed in detail. Once I''ve made that decision I''ll choose between the "finalist" and the Excel AGS0 (but probably go with the WF).

Bart you are fine, but with top cut diamonds like these, we often suggest that you ask Brian Gavin who has a superb rep and eye , or one of the other experts at WF to look at your choices and talk you through each one. That way they can discuss the various merits of each one with you, so you end up knowing which is best for your purposes. Even though each diamond is cut to exacting proportions there could be subtle variations with each, so by having an expert advise you with the diamonds in hand, you will have a great opportunity to select a winner.

Nope, the link you gave for the 0.716c is actually a 0.713c.

You're right, Stone-cold, it is a .713 - sorry for the confusion. Thanks everyone for your advice. I may post again once I have some info from the Excel people, but I am leaning toward the .713. I've also asked the rep at WF to give me a better idea of the differences between the above stones.

Best,

Bart
